Application Period

The application period opens at 10:00 am ET on March, 3, 2025 and ends at 5:00 pm ET on April 4, 2025.

How to Enter

During the Application Period, you may enter the contest by visiting TaxSlayerGatorBowl.com/Champions (“Website”) and completing all the required application information and clicking on the Submit button in order to successfully enter the grant application process. Grant Amount, Selection, and Notification

Twelve (12) recipients shall be randomly selected from all online applications completed during the Application Period to receive a $500 grant. Odds of being awarded a grant depend on the total number of eligible applications received.

The recipients shall be selected and notified through an in-school surprise visit by May 15, 2025. Gator Bowl Charities will reach out to a school administrator to schedule the surprise visit for the teacher. Recipient may be videotaped or and/or photographed during the surprise visit.

Use of Grant Funds

Funding will be administered by DonorsChoose.org. If selected, you will be required to create an account and qualifying project on DonorsChoose.org, which Gator Bowl Charities will fund. DonorsChoose.org will then purchase the resources and deliver them directly to the school. For more information, visit DonorsChoose.org/teachers.

One hundred percent (100%) of the grant amount must be used for the classroom or school for the benefit of the recipient’s students. Failure to abide by these conditions may result in disqualification and forfeiture of the grant.

The grant is not transferable to another teacher or school unless approved in writing by the recipient’s school. If the recipient is no longer employed by the school at the time the grant funds are administered, the grant and any property purchased using grant funds shall be awarded to the school.
