TAXSLAYER GATOR BOWL AND DREAMS COME TRUE
ANNOUNCE THE 2018 DREAM TEAM
JACKSONVILLE, Fla., Aug. 28, 2018 — The TaxSlayer Gator Bowl and Dreams Come True signed twelve dreamers to the TaxSlayer Gator Bowl Dream Team today. The TaxSlayer Gator Bowl Dream Team will provide a unique experience for twelve dreamers who are participants of Dreams Come True.
The dreamers will serve as representatives and ambassadors for the TaxSlayer Gator Bowl through their participation on the Dream Team. Throughout the college football season, the Dream Team will have the opportunity to scout a game at the University of Florida, participate with local corporate executives at monthly TaxSlayer Gator Bowl meetings, and distribute their rookie year player cards throughout Jacksonville.
At the conclusion of the college football regular season, the Dream Team will graduate from their Dream Team jerseys to TaxSlayer Gator Bowl green jackets officially making them honorary Dream Team members of the TaxSlayer Gator Bowl committee. Their Dream Team experience will include a meet and greet with participating team players and cheerleaders in the Dreams Come True Room at Wolfson Children’s Hospital in late December and conclude with being honored on-field during the 74th annual TaxSlayer Gator Bowl on December 31, 2018.
The 2018 Dream Team is made up of: Deon Jordan (age 17); Norah Sproles (age 6); Jacob Sandoval (age 11); Blake Dunham (age 9); King Tatum (age 7); Jake Berglund (age 13); Payton Titus (age 17); Jacob Shedlin (age 13); Hayes McIntyre (age 11); Camryn Naff (age 10); Zion Williams (age 15); and Jordyn Harris (age 13).

About TaxSlayer Gator Bowl
The TaxSlayer Gator Bowl is a 73 year old Jacksonville tradition. The 74th installment of this iconic event will be held on New Year’s Eve, Monday, December 31st at 7:30 pm on Bill Gay Grounds at TIAA Bank Field. The matchup will feature a participant from the Southeastern Conference paired against an opponent from either the Big Ten Conference, Atlantic Coast Conference or Notre Dame. Annually, the TaxSlayer Gator Bowl provides a $14-$16 million economic impact to Northeast Florida and over $500,000 is donated to local charitable organizations.
