How long have you been involved with Gator Bowl Sports? This will be my 5th game!
Favorite aspect of your involvement with Gator Bowl Sports? Honestly, my favorite part is some of the relationships that have developed out of this partnership… friendships have formed with many of the Gator Bowl staff members. I’m grateful to work with such a great group of people!
Favorite TaxSlayer Gator Bowl Memory: I would probably say the ending of the Tennessee vs. Indiana game in 2019. The 2nd half of that game in general was really exciting! My dad was at the game with me and he’s a lifelong Tennessee fan, so that was pretty special.
Where are you from? Aiken, South Carolina
Hobbies outside of work and philanthropy? I play golf and tote my kids around to their extra-curricular activities.
How many kids do you have and what type of extra curriculars are they involved in? I have 2 daughters — Zoey is 11 and Madison is 4. Zoey is involved in gymnastics, gymnastics and more gymnastics. Madison is doing dance, gymnastics and soccer. So yeah, I’m a girl dad!
Favorite sports film? The Last Dance
What would be your walk-up song? Forever by Drake, Kanye West, Lil Wayne & Eminem… I’ve always thought that would be an epic song to walk out to.
Favorite genres of music? I listen to it all… I think our generation just likes to listen to music in general.
Who would you say are your top 3 favorite bands/artists? Post Malone, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Eric Church
Best concert you have ever seen and what is a concert you wish you could see? My favorite I’ve seen was probably Kenny Chesney when he sold out Williams-Brice Stadium… that was a fun one. Two people I would love to see would be – Garth Brooks and Coldplay!
Best piece of advice you have ever received? I think probably the biggest thing would be go with your gut. Typically, when you make your mind up on a decision, that’s usually the best route to go. Don’t overthink things. Trust your intuition.
What advice would you give a young professional who was reading this? Clean up your social media profiles when you’re applying for jobs!
Who are your biggest supporters? My wife and my family of course. I also think I get a lot of support from my co-workers. We spend A LOT of time together and have to cheer each other on to get through tax season. We’re a team!
